On Saturday night (31/5/'08), Barry and I planted a hardy, yellow-flowering miniature Iris on either side of the road at the scene. All letters that were left by (or with) flowers have been buried beneath the plant on the southbound side, and the flowers bunched around it. For those who might like to read it, here follows my letter to Mark...... * * * * * * * For my darling son, Mark Anthony, You came into my life and made it complete. You were a wonderful baby, a fun to be around child, and a loving and caring young man. You worked very hard at school and then excelled once at work in the cycle shop. Your giftswere many, both with pets and anything mechanical, but your best gift was that of your everlasting love and kindness for everyone who had the good luck to be a part of your very special life. You leave us with many happy memories that will live on in our hearts and minds forever. Night-night "cobblers", my darling, until we are together again, and what a big hug that will be!
